We gave our "farewell" talks yesterday at church, and many people wished us well as we prepare to leave. We were very happy that our dear friend, Janine Swailes came to hear us speak, and we were greatly shocked and surprised when Danny and Kaylee came up to us when we arrived at church and gave us a hug! Matt and Carrie drove all the way from Bellevue, after teaching lessons and speaking there yesterday morning. They brought ribs and sausage in case we didn't have any food left in the house, and after a nice dinner together after church, they packed up and went back home. Their unexpected attendance really was a delightful and unexpected bonus to the day! Our packing is right on schedule- Anne said to bring Freckles tracking equipment and utility bag, "just in case" they had time to work with her.Freckles is a little nervous seeing all of her things go in the suitcase. She is recovering nicely from her last teeth pulling, and we are all looking forward to the Columbia Basin Dog Training Club Picnic tonight. Except for some dinners out with friends, this should be our last big social event before we leave, and our last activity with the dogs. Then to Dan's  HS class reunion in Brememerton, Houston to drop of Freckles, to Florida to Mother and Daddy's, then back to Seattle to leave Joy. Then back home to repack the car for the long drive to Salt Lake. I have been organizing my Genealogy before we go the FHC in Salt Lake, and Virginia families keep popping up everywhere. It is amazing!
